Mariana is passionate about tailoring her conversations and treatments to each individual situation. She likes to create a safe environment so that open conversations can emerge and together with clients discover creative solutions. Her preferred approach is Solution Focus Brief Therapy, which means that from the get-go she focuses both on understanding the problem as well as defining goals with the client so that the therapy becomes as focused and brief as possible. She is also a certified hypnotherapist in the state of Florida, using hypnosis to help clients ameliorate their complaints by creating new ways of thinking/relating to their problem(s). 

Mariana is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, with more than ten years in the field working with children, teenagers, families, and couples. She enjoys helping others walk through the different stages and situations of life.
